One Last Time
Matt and I will be on Test the Nation tonight, at 8 p.m.
As for new content-- I've been busy with work and moving into a new home (how bout those tax hikes!), which is why I haven't been posting more. But I'm getting back to my normal schedule (free time, all the time), which means new content should soon follow. Stay tuned. Or don't. It is the summer, after all.
MATT UPDATE: It turns out that Lethbridge has a lot of local media (and a lot of competition for human interest items with a local angle). So, under the "Matt Everywhere 2008" heading, we have:
Needless to say, it's been a strange and interesting week.
Lastly, if you're going to watch the show, you might as well play along: you can download a scorecard here. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

MATT UPDATE: It turns out that Lethbridge has a lot of local media (and a lot of competition for human interest items with a local angle). So, under the "Matt Everywhere 2008" heading, we have:
- a phone chat with Marlon & Jen on B93's The Breakfast Buzz, here
- 5 minutes or so on Global Lethbridge's community events program, Scene & Heard with Mark Campbell, here (May 23, skip ahead to the 11:00 mark)
- a profile/"watch tonight!" piece on the front page (below the fold) of The Lethbridge Herald today -- including fantastic, flattering photo -- though I believe Sunday's pieces don't get posted until tomorrow
- A profile in The Lethbridge Sun-Times, being published Wednesday
- plus a previously mentioned radio chat, and a brief mention in another Herald piece (not online)
Needless to say, it's been a strange and interesting week.
Lastly, if you're going to watch the show, you might as well play along: you can download a scorecard here. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Nice.
You guys better have answered that "Who was the last helmetless player" question correctly... OR POW!
Harvey the Hound was present? If Andy didn't rip out his tongue, he should be replaced.
Also, I get the impression that Mark Campbell was an Oilers fan.
The B93 people asked me that 'helmetless player' question. If I had realized/recalled that it was an actual show question, I would have said "Can't say". But I didn't, so I answered it. Correctly.
Sorry CBC. Please don't sue me for everything I don't have.
Also, you'd have better luck ripping a seatbelt out of a car now than you would ripping Harvey's tongue out. That sucker is socked in there tight.
I'm just proud that we are coming on after "American Tail: Fievel Goes West." Big time, Matt. Big time.
And, I'm outed. My employer just phoned and fired me. Thanks a million, Grabia.
You had better have won me one of those chairs!
Handpicked by the lovely producers. I'm not even kidding. Though that doesn't explain "why", I realize...
Watching this again, my biggest regret is not having words with Mark Lee about the Oilers/Best Team in the NHL series in 06. Not bad words, mind you. Just words.
Nice kiss cam action Grabia!
For some reason, my tv is acting up, and is narrating the scene changes for the blind. When that scene came up, it said, "bloggers Robert and Andy are on the screen. Andy leans over and kisses Robert on the cheek."
Andy, Matt, would you have traded those comfortable recliners for a chance to blurredly flip off Mark Lee on national television like these two random guys "just" did?
If not, can we trade you for these two random guys?
Good to see that Alberta led the provinces in scoring, and Oilers fans beat the fans of the other NHL teams.

my tv did that, and i thought i was the only one !!! i HAVE to know, is it a 90s era JVC ???? very annoying...
well done both of you on TTN last night !!!
i HAVE to know, is it a 90s era JVC ???? very annoying...
It is! I think it might be early 2000s, but it is a JVC. Very annoying, indeed, and I have no idea why it is doing it. It does it on both CTV and CBC now.
Nice work, lads! Unfortunately my TV was incapable of transmitting Andy's sweater in all its Orange glory.
Did either of you manage to get your thigh grabbed by Ron Maclean?

That was the dream, but it didn't happen. At least not in my case. Terry Gregson was eyeing me up all show, though.
Loved that you two were front and centre for your team. Great smooch, too :-)
Andy, just wondering why you didn't wear an Oilers jersey? And did you get a chance to chat with Coffey?
Yeah you should have had the Oilers jersey on dude!
Anyways, good show guys! It was fun to watch. Did you find out what your score was? And Andy, you did beat Matt, right?
