Schadenfreude, 101
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
GOILERS!!!
GOILERS!!!
Comments:
I object... I thought schadenfreude meant shameful joy, and I see no reason for any shame on anyone's part here.
Ear to ear, baby. That's my smile. Even though the Canucks wouldn't have made it this far without those loser points we gave them.
I have to admit being a bit disappointed that the Flames weren't also dealt the elimination blow, but all in all, a good night. I'll just have to wait five more games for Calgary to be done.
Now I can happily not watch Saturday's game
I don't know. The Canucks lose in regulation, the Oilers place ahead of them. Such poetic justice that would be, given how much talk the Fucknucks have given on the Oilers supposed top-5 pick.
As a TV viewer in the Pacific region, I'd like to thank the Edmonton Oilers, their staff, the City of Edmonton, and all its residents, for keeping the Canucks out of the playoffs.
I couldn't take another 7-game series of 1-0 snoozefests like last year's matchup with DAL (not counting the Game 1 multi-OT game).
I'm excited to watch Saturday's game. Theoretically, the Canucks should come out and phone the game in... I want to see if there's any difference in their energy level versus last night's game.
I'm guessing no.
You're all so mean, and we never did anything to you.
I believe I have a years worth of Ryan Smyth quips to counter that argument. :)
Memo to the Flames: You're welcome!
You can return the favor by beating Vancouver tomorrow night and further degrading the Oilers draft position, thus contributing to a screw-over of Brian Burke.
Thanks in advance.
GOILERS FOR LIFE!!! last night's win would be so much sweeter if it wasn't for this hangover. i haven't partied this hard after an oiler win since the shootout defeat of the avs during last year's stretch run of misery.
