Mind, blown
garfield minus garfield:
I love the internet.
Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life?
I love the internet.
Comments:
I've also seen the Garfield Randomizer, which stitches together random panels from the archives... and still creates more-or-less coherent cartoon strips, and a couple of strips where Garfield's thought bubbles are taken out... not quite as harsh as these ones, but along the same lines
how is it possible that garfield was so popular...? whatever. my firstborn will be named dion garfield mattias (forsberg's middle name).... it would've been just dion mattias but now i've re-thought it.
(also, i've had some beers)
;)
phaneuf's truck got stolen in calgary yesterday. couldn't of happened to a nicer person. is nuckels around to set me on the right moral path?

How is Phaneuf supposed to get to the hospital to sign autographs for sick kids without his truck?
God, people are so insensitive.

"only Olli Jokinen was worth the Flames breaking the piggy bank...In Calgary's case, that might have been Alex Tanguay, Matthew Lombardi, Leland Irving and a first-round choice. We'd have done that deal, but Brother Bruce can see why Sutter might have demurred at upending his dressing room."
I'll just say that I'm thankful Dowbiggin isn't GM of this team.

Actually, Phaneuf found the guy who stole it. But the guy looked reasonably tough, so Phaneuf settled for beating up a thin guy who walked by then running.

They're actually reporting the fucker left the car running while he went into a store for a late.
To put it properly into witty context, Dion's all forehead, no brains.

Dude, it's cold in Calgary.
What a lazy ass. Turn your gas-guzzling truck off and then get your Grande white chocolate mocha no foam latte.
Its 10 and partly sunny here in Vanland. And its nice to see some semblance of morality in the posts. If Grabia can find his pulse, there is hope for all...
Sorry, its my first post here and I made an account just to discuss/argue/diss/love/laugh and obsess over the greatest game on earth.
I look forward to the next Nucks/Flames or Nucks/Oil game...
