At the risk of sounding like an Oilers fan, I like the Oilers
GREAT CROSBY'S BEARD, THERE'S A HOCKEY GAME ON!!!
Think we'll hear much about Ovechkin tonight?
Crosby.
Game starts now. GOILERS!
***Bonus*** Profound words from the Hall of Famer:
"The only reason to get rid of a coach is if he loses his players and they tune him out."
"At the risk of sounding like a MacTavish fan, I think he's a good coach..."

Comments:
It just occurred to me that I'm rather sick of Gene Principe.
But I hear this Ovechkin fellow is rather good...
I wish Sgt. Cindy Scott had done the French parts of the anthem. That would have been tzzight.
She's killing this Yankee ditty. Damn grrrl. That was nice.
Sportsnet should punish Principe every time he rhymes. Enough already.
Jesus Christ. Why are the Oilers suddenly as worse as I've seen them all season.
Too much pressure being a .500 team?
PLAY DICK TARNSTROM.
Nice goal by Scorcoff. Not discussed in the merits of Sheldon Souray's shot: the rebounds.
Man, this game is nasty.
But where's the team toughness? Brodziak gets boarded and nothing.
Just take the penalty at that point. Brodziak wasn't hurt or anything.
What a brilliant play by Horc, straight to the net...ZIP! And he draws a penalty.
POWERPLAY NILSSON!OI!H~BHW
Did Principe just suggest that Greene start over Tarnstrom against Carolina tomorrow? Punch my brain in, please.
3 Powerplay goals! Isn't that more than we got in the first 15 games?
NICE!
Penner's trash talk to Erskine was the cherry to Hemsky and Horcoff's whipped cream passes.
Greene? Seriously, what's wrong with Tarnstrom? No way he's been worse than Smid.
Did the dude punch MacT's puppy in the face or something?
"How much do you like to score goals, by the way you seem to enjoy them?"
Who is the one who can't speak English, again?
Oh, I just did. How there isn't already a YouTube'd Lowe version with "No Plan" whispering in the background...I don't know.
Man, I go make a sandwich and all hell has broken loose. Funny watching the camera pan to the bench to see MacT mouthing "fuuuuck".
*The running commentary between Mike and Andy is almost better than the game now.
How there isn't already a YouTube'd Lowe version with "No Plan" whispering in the background...I don't know.
Some pictures and some news clippings is all one needs.
Is Roloson still in this game?
Yup, Roli is still in there. He must be saving Garon for tomorrow night. I think he could handle 20 mins tonight. Sheesh!
Anyone else want to defend MacT as a coach right now???
They do play Carolina tomorrow (spits). But this game is still within reach. And why can't Garon play 4 periods in a row?
Then again, Jim Matheson says that "the only reason to get rid of a coach is if he loses his players and they tune him out," and he's a Hall of Fame journalist. If he says results don't matter, they just don't matter.
No plan.
Both coaches right now are thinking, "you score four goals in a night, your goalie should be able to get you a win."
Hey, remember that Ross McKeon article I linked to the other day? The one that said,
"Ah, where all the trouble started. Funny thing is: Mr. Lowe doesn't have a lot of pressing contractual problems since those who are up are pretty replaceable. The best argument is for RFA Jarret Stoll, the 25-year-old who isn't having a great season but figures to be part of the future. Otherwise, there's the thought of extending Shawn Horcoff, 29, but he's not tearing it up either."
Check out the link today. That part about Horcoff not tearing it up? Gone. Hi, Mr. McKeon!
Three point night for Horc.
Pronger out of the Ducks' game with a foot injury.
Listening on the radio - "A lot of blood on the ice, someone must be cut pretty badly!!!!!" Or did somebody just throw something on the ice there ... they're cleaning it up (said with disappointment)"
What in the hell was MacT doing there?
Also, I want to throw my support behind the bench minor thing - it's a fascinating new twist in a season of incompetence.
Jesus nothing like listening on radio.
Twelve seconds left and Hemsky gets in and then Ovechkin has a great chance? Is it possible??
Have to drink more.

Holy shit that's a good one.
Wasn't Shawn Bradley a huge center for the Bullets? 6-11 or something. Shawn Bradley, I'm sure of it. Red hair, a bunch of it, bad knees.
Bill Walton except he wasn't.
As for the Oilers, they're good. Not now, though.
He was actually drafted by the 76ers, and played with the Nets and Mavs as well. Seven foot six Mormon. I wonder if he's endorsed Mitt Romney?
Shawn Bradley.
Like a left handed pitcher being that big. He was shit but he was employed forever.
The Caps picked him up on waivers. Paid off last night. Roli never had a chance.
