So Fresh And So Clean

Thanks to Littlefury for catching this line in the Journal article I linked to below.

"With ease, the Oilers reached their season-ticket cap of 13,500. Plans are afoot for a brand-new home - a downtown-revitalizing arena."

Finally, someone puts this it into terms I can understand. I also can't wait to get rid of the dry, itchy scalp and dandruff that is our current city core. I want to have the same moisturized, full-bodied, glowy sheen that so many other cities have with their arenas. Send in the stylists!

What I loved about that was the line was inserted into a feel good article about families and Edmonton's reputation. "Well a new arena just makes common sense!"

I think now that rub 'n' tug massages with happy endings are legal, a new arena is never going to be able to compete with what is already downtown.

To hear some people tell it, the arena would be part of a new downtown "entertainment district," which, one must presume, includes at least a few jack shacks.

I think Scott Cruickshank just performed a "manual release" on the EIG.

Best line from a Judge, ever:

"I wonder, and am left in doubt as to whether or not the community might consider the act of masturbation in all situations to be sexual.

I am even more confident in our judicial system after I read lines like that.

Hopefully in the arena. There's a good way to ease the pain of Flames 7, Oilers 1 in about three years.
