Noooooooooooooo!!!!!

My worst nightmare. He probably jumped into the glass after scoring, too. I can't even stand the thought of it. Sob.

The good news is that The Hockey Jesus and Traktor Boy both scored. And Snorri Thoresen fought Mike Fucking Comrie. YES!Could I love that guy any more?

Comments:

Don't worry about it Grabia - he likely won't score many more this year.

And better now (he likely got a kick out of it and good for him) then when it counts.

As for Thoresen - maybe if he'd knocked the little punk out?

No such luck.

Sorry, but for a minute, I could not figure out who the hell the Phoenix player was. "I thought Anson Carter signed with Columbus," was my first reaction.

There's no place for him here, but it just doesn't seem right to see GG in another jersey.

Sugartits also scored for the Oilers, Andy. Hopefully he carries the hot hand over into the start of the AHL season!

I noted that The Hockey Jesus scored, Vic. The nickname Sugartits is about as gay as the name Mudcrutch, by the way.

And the fact that Schremp may end up in the minors means that the thinking from the stats guys about his value is as orthodox as Mac T's. But your persecution of Schremp will only make his message of goal scoring that much stronger.

I also don't understand why Le GG is wearing #37, by the way. #27 isn't taken. Hull and Steen are 9 and 25. Are they holding #27 for Teppo Numminen?

And can anyone explain why Hawerchuck's 10 hasn't been retired?

Good question about Hawerchuk! I never even thought of that! What a travesty!

Could they even do it at this point? I mean, fine, they kept Winterpeg's retired numbers (unlike Colorado and Carolina, for example), but can they really retire any Jets that didn't play in Phoenix, like Hawerchuk?
