Rent a Stanley
Doug Weight took the edge off of my hatred of him by taking the Cup to a Children's Hospital (รพ Kuklas). He might have increased my hatred of him by taking it to a Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
Michael Gould, 13, says what we're all thinking:
Indeed.
Michael Gould, 13, says what we're all thinking:
"I've been thinking about what I'm going to say to him," Michael said. "I think I'm gonna say, 'Too bad you had to (win) it in Carolina.'"
Comments:
why would they boo him? He was going to be unrestricted at the end of the year, the Blues were cleaning house, & Weight became a rental just like hundreds of other players. There was no way in hell the Blues were going to win the cup - with or without Weight. I'm not sure he had a whole lot in the say of where he went, but it was his decision to return to St. Louis.
Sacamano!
Ah, I find it hard to hate Weight. Aside from being our best player for most of the 90s, he always said the right things and seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
Even so...BURN!
Really, what if Ryan Smyth was traded to Ottawa, won there, then resigned with Edmonton and brought the Cup to town for his day-with? What would your reaction be?
