Here are a couple actual question: how many times have the Flames and Oilers met in the post-season, and how many times have the Flames advanced through the Oilers?
Oh, I have the answer.
They played each other in 83, 84, 86, 88, and 91. The Flames advanced once, I hear, in 86. Once. The Oil have a playoff series lead of 19-11.
I am actually amazed they didn't play each other more. I always forget about those pesky Jets teams.
