Edmonton's Stretch Run

Looking at the remaining 20 games, the Oilers still have some work to do.
The next four games (all on the road) are absolutely key. A win over SJ would almost put the Sharks out of their misery, beating Columbus is a must, and a split (at least) with Minnie would probably kill them. A sub-.500 record on this trip and all of a sudden Edmonton is in a dogfight again with a tough last 16 games--including an immediate homestand vs Calgary, Detroit, Vancouver, followed by a road trip to Vancouver, Vancouver, Colorado. Ouch.

Both Mirtle and Zorak's projections see 95 points as being the cutoff in the west. This means Edmonton needs to go 11-9 over the last 20.
