Someone Else's Game Day

We don't see this often, but neither the Flames nor the Oilers are in action tonight. The late HNIC game is Vancouver at Colorado, and fans in Alberta are united in one wish: let's get this game settled in regulation, please.

The Olympics are coming up on us fast. Here's the Battle of Alberta schedules up until the break:

Calgary
Edmonton
Obviously the schedule is fairly favourable for both teams; one tough-looking road game in 7 starts is OK. I think it's a solid prediction that if either team goes on a good run, as they should, they're just about locked in for the playoff. If they don't, it's going to be some nervous times all the way until mid-April.

These days, I think I'd be more comfortable if *all* the Oilers' games were on the road...
