Nickname Watch
OK, so he's a golfer, but I'm sure this applies to more than a couple of NHL players. And, it made me laugh.

I remember an interview (shortly before Mike Weir became known outside of Canada) where Phil, who was always referred to as the best golfer never to win a major, was asked an easy question about who he thought would be the next left-handed golfer to win a major.
He replied, "I think we all know the answer to that." He chuckled, the reporter chuckled, wink wink, nudge nudge, back slap.
It wasn't long before Mike Weir became famous outside of Canada, and the next lefty to win a major.
