Oilers Game Day - Boston
Season Record: 15-11-1 | Season Record: 9-13-5 |
Preview
In the first cross-over game, the Oil get a Thorntonless Boston team. I like our chances. Teams always play well the first game after a blockbuster because everyone wants to impress. They beat Ottawa, but the Bruins fall back to earth tonight.
The other great news is that we can go into overtime without giving up an important point.
Prediction: 5-2 Oil. Peca, D-Vo, Stoll, Pronger, LeGG
Comments:
The Oilers have had a good run the last two or three weeks turning ties into wins. When you play that many close games, eventually you start to get burned. They have to start putting teams away in regulation -- especially when they are up 3-0.
