Ok, I really am back now.

Some random thoughts.

Eskies win, Eskies win, Eskies win!
I don't think I should attend games in person anymore. Another chunk from my paycheque, another loss. Having said that, I don't think the Oil played that badly. Chicago is not as crummy as their record would suggest, and they are actually a pretty fun team to watch - despite all their thuggery.
Why did we trade Semenov for a box of jockstraps? Does anyone have a good answer for this? Just when he was starting to play well, too. We don't save any salary, and we get nothing in return.
LGG had a pretty nice game vs Chicago. I hope he keeps it up.
Do we want Sykora? Apparently Burke wants minor league talent. We have lots of that - some of it is even playing in the minor leagues.
Prediction: 3-2 Oilers
