My Boy Kevin Lowe Is Wicked Smaht
The Oilers finally have a farm team. the AHL's Springfield Falcons. I'm a little disappointed the team isn't called either the Wicked Pissahs or the Isotopes, but it's better than nothing. Glove tap to Mark for the link.

The angel of death in my head says the hour of Oiler purification is no longer at hand.
At least until KLowe rights this ship, and he until training camp to get it done.

I'm a little confused. I thought the Oilers were an AHL team.
Yeah, but now they have a new stadium
I swear, right now, that if any team names their AHL affiliate the "Wicked Pissahs", I will cheer for them*.
* - except the Calgary Flames**
** - or the Colorado Avalanche
I kept combing through articles today trying to find out which other NHL team the Oilers were going to share this farm club with...
I must say that I love the Good Will Hunting Reference...A classic movie.
So how many Oilers will be able to crack the Springfield roster next year???
