I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of someone screaming here

Have thoughts on the tribute? Feel like calling Pierre McGuire a name? Care to nominate the most abominably self-serving organizational comment of the day? Catch a glimpse of Northlands goons tearing up a "I NAMED MY TWIN SONS RYAN AND SMYTH" poster in the concourse? Or, I suppose, notice something in the game you want to mention?

    I can understand this...it's killing the children that just seems so unnecessary.

    That tribute video was awful. And they cut off the crowd applause by going to the anthems. I guess he could have asked for that, but I thought that tribute video was heartless.

    Love McGuire's evaluation of Grebeshkov so far. And what is with Arnason? He's just killed us since he became a Av.

    No, they booed him. Even Miller noted it.

    I liked Pierre trashing Greene and Grebeshkov, but it really hurt when he said the Oilers were really missing Souray and Pitkanen. That was a low blow.

    Hemsky looks like he's lost a lot of confidence, McGuire helpfully points out he's never scored 20, and at this pace and with the development of Cogs and Sam-Wise, Hemsky could finish 5 or 6th in team scoring this year.

    i sure do miss Smytty the Oiler.

    again, although the effort was there, this team sure could use some extra sandpaper and hustle. come back soon, Pisani and Moreau.

    worth noting - three straight enthusiastic/effective performances by Raffi. kids were good again, Gilbert shows his offensive instincts again, Penner even had a few good shifts. this team desperately needs what Choppers and Pisani bring to the table, though.

    Pierre McGuire is insane. no shades of grey in his world, you are either STUPID or A MONSTER! he kinda reminds me of one of those inflatable clown punchy things. or a talking bowling pin.
