  1. Nice voodoo trick. Think it'll work next year as well?

  2. I'll be honest: wanting the Oilers to win games, and seeing Oilers fans like Andy cheer for the Flames is starting to freak me out.

It'll be nice to be back to normal this Saturday.

Sunday night, I was cheering for the Flames to beat Colorado, and my buddy (Flames fan) was cheering for the Oilers to beat the Wild. It was beyond surreal.

  8. What a great game. Just great.

Now maybe the Oilers can return the favour against the Wild tonight. And yes, cheering for an Oilers' win makes me feel a little ... dirty.

Things don't get easier for the Oil though -- it's not enough that you pretty much have to win them all, but Vancouver and Colorado play each other twice in the next week or so. That's at least 4 points (and maybe 6) those teams will be sharing. You guys are going to have to also cheer for either Vancouver or Colorado to sweep those games. And that is also a dirty, dirty thing.

How about Gandhi, Mother Theresa and Dave Coulier? Think about it.

By the sound of it there was an alarming number of Canuck fans at that game. They seem to be multiplying as the regular season winds down. I'm assuming that the bandwagon is filling up for their annual, highly successful playoff run.

Deal. I think that line would match up well with the Canucks as they already have the Olsen twins playing on their first line.

    Hey-o!

  14. There was a sh*tload of knuckleheads at the game last night and they were having a great time throughout the first period when the Flames got into penalty trouble and Kipper let in a shot from behind the net.

But then, Iggy tossed the team on his back and the Dion scored the winner adn it was good times for the Sea of Red and boo hoo hoo for the Nucks' fans.

Most fun I've had at a game this year, bar none.

  15. I'd cheer for the Flames if they had a fourth line of Martin Luther, L. Ron Hubbard and Doug Henning- old school grit, star power and yogic flying/mustache power would take them right to the cup.

    hall-z

  16. Martin Luther is _the_ GlenX of religious reformers; even if you are of a different denomination, you have to admire his willingness to get his hands dirty.

  17. I can't bring myself to say I want that team to win. I've been going with the formulation, "The team I suppose I don't want to not win tonight is..."
